Next gen i decided to go with a gaming PC (along with my WiiU). theres soo many places to start when making a pc but my main goal is to keep the price under 400$ USD and be able to run great games with at least graphical med setting.
One pc build that i came up with is as followed:

APU: Amd A10-5800k trinity 3.8 quad core with radeon HD 7660D (intergraded graphics)-130$

Motherboard: MSI FM2 Micro ATX AMD mobo-60$

Ram: 8gb of DDr3 ram-40$

Case and PSU: Rosewill mid tower case with psu-60$

HDD- Western Digital 500gb harddrive-60$

Monitor: use old one

mouse and key board: use old one

that all comes out to, 350$ without taxs!
so what do you think? if you recommend something else please let me know in the comments. Thanks

Just be careful what RAM you are buying if you're going with A10 - make sure it's 2x4GB kit instead of 1x8GB, there's up to 50-60% difference in game performance between single channel and dual channel configs:

http://www.overclock.net/t/1269500/amd-apu-laptops-and-memory-sensitivity-i-e-why-you-need-to-choose-an-apu-laptop-with-a-dual-channel-ddr3-1600-config

You can check how 7660D performs here:

http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/graphics/display/amd-trinity-graphics_6.html#sect1

Not a great solution overall, if you're willing to spend some $40-$50 more, you can go with Athlon X4 740 and HD 7750 - just make sure it's GDDR5, DDR3 versions perform really bad compared to them:

http://ht4u.net/reviews/2012/msi_radeon_hd_7750_2gb_ddr3_test/index39.php&usg=ALkJrhi1G4TxkhzXnvN1ZfRJ3KdXukbpQQ?dummy=&advancedFilter=true&prod[]=AMD+Radeon+HD+7750+2GB+DDR3&prod[]=AMD+Radeon+HD+7750&filter[0][]=1680&filter[0][]=1920&filter[0][]=2560&filter[2][]=1&filter[2][]=2x2+SSAA&filter[2][]=2x2+SSAA+%2B+MLAA&filter[2][]=4&filter[2][]=8&filter[2][]=FXAA+-+hoch&filter[2][]=MLAA&filter[2][]=Post+AA&filter[3][]=16&aa=all

I'm not and PC expert but I can make some recommendations:

First, which components your current PC has? If you have a 2nd or more Gen Intel i3 or i5 CPU you will only need a GPU+Power Supply(And a case with decent space) and you will be fine for the next 3-4 years

There's is a great  deal on Newegg with the HD 7970(the fastest AMD single GPU and 4 free games) for 310$ right now: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202008

Or you can put 40$ more and get the Vapor X Ghz Edition(But I think is not worth it unless you want the extra cooling)

You can also buy the HD 7950 or the new GTX 760 for 250ish, but again is not a smart buy it if you compare it to the 7970 deal. Anything less is not worth it if you consider the PS4 an option.

For PSU you can get: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153167 or something with at least 600W to be safe but from a good brand or at least bronze certificated.

So in conclusion:

The set up you made is comparable with the PS360, better in some cases, worst in others. I think if you want an APU, you have to wait for the PS4 and XBone launch because AMD will be releasing theirs new APU(codename Kabini I think it is) with GCN graphics(HD 7xxx or HD8xxx series) hopefully with GPU comparable to the HD 7850(or better?). Or you can wait and see how the HD 8XXX series turn out(Q4 2013 according to rumors) and HD 7xxx series prices will go down in the next few months(they are almost 2 years old GPUs)

If your PC has and i3 or i5(2nd Gen or more) or AMD FX 6300 or 8320/50. You will need 360$ for a HD 7970+PSU and you will be fine for 3-5 years

Or wait for HD 8xxx series and AMD next APU.

Any other setup is not worth it. Unless you are willing to put down 300$ more to do a good CPU or GPU upgrade mid gen.

Sorry for bad english

I've read that it's a bad idea to use PSUs that come packaged with cases because they're usually rubbish can can, in the worst case, screw over your entire rig. It'd be best to buy a cheaper case and a separate PSU from a trustworthy manufacturer like Rosewill or Corsair.

Rosewill and Corsair aren't even in the same league.
Corsair all the way!

Rosewill is not that bad, but Corsair is better.

From my experience the best brands are Silver Stone, Seasonic, Corsair(Some PSUs are just rebranded Seasonic's if I remember correctly), Antec. Good but not great Thermaltake, Rosewill, NZXT(very good product so far, but needs more time)

Do you have a local microcenter around? I highly recommend you get a dedicated graphics card.

Corsair use a mix of hardware in their PSU's like Channel Well, Seasonic and Flextronics.

Also, if I was going to use Antec it would only be the Neo Eco's, great budget supplies that use Seasonic and Channel Well designs.
Thermaltake, Rosewill and NZXT you couldn't pay me to use. :P
