Yeah, IGN use to feel like a close knit family. When Matt left, it was all down hill.

Terrible journalist who's bias towards Nintendo was so apparent that it was embarrassment to IGN.

Her reviews weren't the best, but she seemed like a very nice person.

Everyone here should read this. It really clarifies the state of IGN Nintendo.

The abridged version is that it's true that there is no longer a dedicated Nintendo team at IGN. There also is no longer a dedicated Sony team or a dedicated Microsoft team. IGN now simply has a staff who writes about whatever they want to write about. If someone only wants to write about Nintendo, they will do that.

Rich will continue to cover Nintendo news, as he has always done. He will also continue to cover series he likes such as Assassin's Creed and Resident Evil, which he has been doing since before the restructure. This does not represent a massive change for Nintendo coverage at IGN.

As for Audrey, I never quite found her reviews to be very... helpful. But I loved her previews, and what she brought to NVC (IGN's Nintendo podcast, which by the way will continue without her). She loved her job, and that positivity was great for previews, interviews, and such.

Agree.  I Just watched the video now, and I didn't understand what they were trying to say.

Her reviews were always ridiculously inflated. I bought Pokemon Black 2 because of her review after i told myself I wouldn't, and let's just say she was full of it. They need someone with less bias taking over.

Audrey was a joke. Seriously. If it was a game, and it had Nintendo on it, it would be gushed about by Audrey.

She probably gave more high scores then anyone on IGN. She gave black and white 2 a 9.6. I'm happy she is gone, she can go to Nintendo where she can be the ultimate fangirl there. I actually want critical reviews of games once in a while.
