Fallout 3 was great. But everything else that came after it from bethesda was garbage.

I'm tired of bethesda games. Don't wanna pay for bugs.

I don't know why they would be taking preorders for Uncharted 4 if it isn't going to release till fall 2014. There is no way they reveal it at Gamescom and release it 2 months later. Sony always teases ND games a year before release.

considering sony is actually making an uncharted movie i have no doubt they are making an uncharted 4 for the PS4

As much as you don't think hes needed, Nathan Drake was never involved in a trilogy, therefore his story arch never lead to an end. Drake has become a mascot for Sony, much like Kratos, Jak & Daxter and Rachet and Clank. 

why should i care about what sony needs? i would rather like to see more the last of us and a new ip next gen even when uncharted 2 is one of my favourite games this gen. if he is important for sony, a mascot or whatever doesn't change that i have enough of uncharted right now as long as there won't be some bigger changes like challenging climbing scenes instead of a "you can't really die" climbing. same for gear of war on 360. gears 1-3 were awesome in my opinion but i don't want a new gears for the next years if it will feel like gears 1-3 with better graphics.

And become as bad in storytelling as Oblivion and Skyrim were? My god that would be a nightmare come tru for me...

I hope that the whole Francis Drake [art is a prologue like another user said. That would be a very good opening, helping build a connection with the lost artifact. Then you end up in the current day as Drake looking for the treasure, or even a bounces back and forth type of story between Nate's time and Drake's. Hopefully this game will be announced at VGA's like everyone is expecting. Will be a great addition to the PS4 library, and a great year one title.

A couple of questions;

1) Why do people always want to change the style of games in a franchise? (Story Driven to Open World, Sim Racer to Arcade, JRPG to WRPG)

2) Why do people always want to see a change in characters in Sony franchises? (Kratos for something new, Drake for someone new, Rico Velasquez killed off)

A little off topic, but I wanted to run through the Uncharted games and I went on wikipedia to make sure I had them all first, and it mentions an online game called Uncharted Drake's Trail, but that the game is now defunct. I was just wondering if it was preserved somewhere else or if there is any way to play it. I enjoy collecting games and it's frustrating when there is some mobile or online offshoot that becomes unavailable over time and at best you can hope to emulate it if you search hard enough.
