They won in terms of games but certainly didn't kill anyone especially with that price.
However, Sony was worse than them, and the only good thing from their conference was the PS4 price.

Um.......

- Kingdom Hearts III?

- Final Fantasy XV?

.....among plenty others.

I get having a preference, but don't let it cloud your better judgment.

Ok I'll agree that I forgot about Kinngdom Hearts and Watchdogs but other than that, the confrence was boring. Unfortunately I'm not a fan of Final Fantasy so its announcement didn't excite me. And Destiny looked boring to me as well. Besides, I was comparing both confrences based on exclusives not multi platform games, and based on that, MS clearly won IMO.

btw, I'm not biased, I'm just stating my opinion. I'm still getting the PS4 way before the Xbox One.

They don't Sony as serious competition. They are more worried about Steam, Google and Apple.

Sony is killing Sony because it keeps losing so much money. Most of the money they made from business was from Insurance, not electronics or games.

Hopefully, Sony can survive so we have more game competition and opportunities.

You're talking like someone that's been out of the loop for a while. Besides, if they didn't see Sony as a serious competitor, they wouldn't have reversed those policies at the speed that they did. The PS4 would have destroyed the X-One without a hitch and Microsoft knew that.

They will always see Sony as a major player as long as they are judged beside them in regards to gaming consoles. It's business and Sony takes money out of their pocket with each given victory.

Actually, I am refering to the article from yesterday.  They don't even mention Sony.  Sony lost 8.5 Billion last year on there electronics. Their scope is so much larger than 'just a game machine.'  (As Sony wanted to do with the PS3.)

Now, if Sony joins with Apple, that could be something.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Sony didn't even break a sweat at E3. MS was never going to be able to keep up with their lame exclusives.

I don't care what who said, just going by the OP. And in the end, this is a subjective thing. Preference. Personal opinion. Your stance implies there can't be a opposite opinion to yours. Does not compute. Im sorry but thats just what I feel given the games showed (only looking at X1 and PS4 games)

Of course it's preference, but the difference between you and I is I don't aim to see one of them fail. You're grasping at straws anyway, because it was clarified that Microsoft didn't say it, yet you harp on a mistranslation to surf your preference. Not ideal when trying to debate, realistically.

Look, its really simple. MS didn't say it, ok. And our console war outlook has nothing to do with this. I saw both games showcases, and I came up with the consclusion that MS had a better showing. Thats it.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

They almost committed suicide at E3 they had the games but goddamn those DRM bullshit and the bad and confusing PR would have killed any company with less resources. They are lucky they get to sell their OS at a good price margin.

MS is much more than just Windows OS.

A load of BS like most of us knew it would be.

Sony didn't even reveal much of their software. There were also only a few cool Xbox One exclusives. Definitely not enough to "kill" anyone.

A load of BS... It was game after game after game after game. Most of you are Sony fans, right?

Certainly not enough to kill anything but it certainly wasn't BS.

It was BS. Micorsoft had a great E3 but not enough to kill sony or anyone for that matter.

It's their bread and butter

You should change the thread title to Did MSFT "kill" Sony like they said they would. The current title is wrong English.

It would still be wrong, because Microsoft never said that to begin with.
