Bet with OriGin: Within 1 year Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be ahead of Mario Kart Wii (when aligning the one whole year from each region). 2 week ban from VGChartz for the loser.

1 million in Japan 1st week equates to a 20% atach rate. Translated to US market 20% attach rate will be 1.9 million. 2 million is very doable!

I think the reason Japan launch number are so high is because Nintendo created a shortage to hype the game even more and made people rush to the stores, the fact that the 2nd shipment hit the stores 2 days after release already is proof of the articial shortage. A very smart move of Nintento because now the hype will fly over and warrant my prediction number of just below 2 million.

However, I expect it to drop harder than SMG did but still sell very decent, similar to what happened to Halo 3. However I'm certain SSBB will have longer legs than Halo 3.

well i think it will be 1.5mln. if there will be enough copies of game it would hit 2-2.5mln in first week.

honestly, i'm thinking just a litte over a million and i'm being pretty generous.
