No way this game is coming close to Halo 3's 2.8 million selling record.

 I agree, it's going to be quite some time before another game beats Halo 3's American first week.

However, if the 900k+ numbers for Japan are accurate, I do think that SSBB has a shot at beating Halo's worldwide first week (3.8 million). The staggered launch makes things a bit easier for Nintendo, of course, but even so, that's an impressive feat. All it needs is 2 million in NA and 1 million in EU.

I was at Gamestop pre-ordering MGS4, and I asked how many pre-orders that had for Brawl so far. They said over 600! I then had them check to make sure they still had mine, lol.

2 Million. Belive it! Nintendos is not stupid. After seeing what happened in Japan I'm sure they'll ship enough. Plus they have a month to make as many copies as they can.
