I think it is true but MS will force Kinect for all but you can turn the cam off... they said you can before.

First of all, it is not much weaker. The WiiU is, Xbone is not.

Then, price is in no relation to power.

Then, price you pay for consoles depends on how much loss companies think will still turn out good in the long run.

Then, Kinect-price can't be guessed properly.

That doesn't make sense.

That person must be mistaken and/or mixing it up with X360.

They specifically stated it would be in every box and it would be required to be connect, but could be turned off to not always be listening.

However, they did a full 180' on the DRM. Maybe they realize that $100 price difference is too much and might put out a "core" console only version for $100 less.

Na I wrote $350 before but $50 less for a system with a 33% less powerful gpu seems too high so i put a price of $300. I would guess kinect would still hold a $150 price tag so the one would have to cost $350 but in ll honesty that won't do much to sway ps4 users to the one. Now if it were $300 that could make all those casuals switch. My post made sense ur brain just couldnt process all of that maybe all that cloud processing isn't working properly today?  ;)
