People still caring about the iPhone is a phenomenon I will never understand since the competition has caught up and surpassed it since the 3GS(was great for it's time, still sitting in my drawer.)

Because I have spent too much on iOS now. It's a platform that I've already invested too much in to switch.

Just out of curiosity... is it just music and movies or are you deep in specific paid apps?

Because you can transfer everything else to Android except apps.

I don't have a single song or video on my phone. Just apps and pictures (which I know transfer over).

I use just about everything google. Chrome, Drive, Play All Access, Gmail. But I just havent found a android phone that works as well as my iPhone.

I really hope Google makes good with motorola and just starts making their own phones and bigger than 16 gb.

Have you used a Nexus phone? My Google Nexus and now Nexus 4 have all been amazing devices.

I was seriously considering a nexus 4 but it only has 16gb and i would need more to maintain my apps and music. I researched it and all my apps besides a couple games are on Play. Only 16gb though isnt enough.

I would MAYBE consider the upcoming naked S4. Thats my only beef I wish google made a consistant UI like how they had LG for Nexus 4 across more androids.

Now that they own motorola im really hoping this changes. But now iOS7 is looking good too and if google releases a Play All Access app i will be set.

only apps take up space on your phone. Everything else live in the cloud in shouldnt take up any space at all.

Yeah that was the only painful thing about switching, but at the time my brother didn't have a smart phone yet so I unlocked my 3GS for him to use with T-Mobile so at least he was benefitting from my old purchases. I eventually put a custom ROM on the old Atrix 4G that I dropped pretty hard(works surprisingly well after the custom ROM) and he's using that now though.

I think all new phone renditions and models look exactly the same. Am I a retard or are the revisions truly miniscule?

It's not like I hate my iPhone either. Definitely not enough to switch.

Well, yeah they live there. Then to get them to come out of their house I need data haha. To stream music as much as I listen to music in the car, since I commute an hour to work would be ridiculous.

Why would that be ridiculous? Oh wait, you're not on unlimited data are you? I guess that does make it more of a necesity to have it locally on your device. However, You could pin a particular playlist to your phone while you're still at home on wifi and then just manage that playlist. This way you're just keeping a smaller set of your library.

Just tossing out an idea, but yeah with some uber restrictive plan you'll likely want big storage.
