Nope. GS4 uses Li-Ion 2600 mAh battery. Although iPhone does manage its battery quite a bit better than other phones. All these smartphones are good for texting and making calls but once you use the features they are actually made for the battery depletes so fast.

You are right... sorry.

The issue witht he manage of battery with others phones is the Android... technically speaking it runs over a Java virtual machine that needs to be running all the time so the stand by state in the non-Android OSs is better and take less baterry (less use of the cpu = less baterry).

The Android team make good progress over that but miracles won't happen.

People still caring about the iPhone is a phenomenon I will never understand since the competition has caught up and surpassed it since the 3GS(was great for it's time, still sitting in my drawer.)

Still the best phone in the market IMO.

I like how the new 5 series are very durable is about it, the functionalities are too locked down otherwise and always need a jailbreak to do what you want whereas rooting is not required for most users on Android. Windows phone is still trash, but if they ever catch up or get better than both, I'd switch right away too. I have 0 brand loyalty towards any corporation. :P

No worries. What you think of windows phone os. I just switched from Galaxy S2 to Nokia Lumia 920. The OS runs really smooth on dual core and 1GB ram. Don't mock me. :P

Going from a S2 to a 920 is not a bad thing, the 920 definitely pales in comparison to the newer Samsungs though.

The big issues for me in Androids compared to iPhone are the UI (fast, simple, responsible and elegant), stability and standardized apps.

I don't like/get why Samsung makes there galaxy s series so plasticy/cheap looking in general. I like the apple os even without the jailbreak and ios 7 looks to be good. Then again I have no clue what rooting is so ya...

lol windows phone

I just tried some minutes a Lumia from my friend... so little time to give you a fair opinion but I liked the UI.

I have the Lumia 920 and I could run over it with a car and it would be fine. I will never go back to Samsung's cheap plastic phones. Iphone 5s looks like it still has the tiny screen and I like WP8 better than iOS. It is funny that iOS 7 looks very similar to WP8 though.

Dude, when is the last time you used android? My galaxy s3 runs JB and runs circles around iOS6 in speed, response time and stability.  Simple... maybe not quite as simple but damn damn close. I can actually multitask under android, and yes my battery life is better on the GS3 than my friend's Iphone5 (and the GS3 only has 2100 mAh).  A few of my friends have switched over and never looked back.

Then again, the iphone 5 does enough for most users.  I didn't buy the GS3 because I am a power user by any means.  I just liked the bigger screen and features of android (many of which are coming finally to OS7.  iOS7 take basically all of it's new features from android, including the ability to shut off wifi, etc. from a pull down menu.  Pull down menus in general.

Apple owned this market at first, but lately they are getting beat by android plain and simple.

As for the plastic feel of the Galaxy series.  I agree on that to some degree.  But have you seen the new HTC One?  Sexy phone with FRONT facing speakers.  I just think Android is too fa
