You do know that the Democratically controlled Congress must approve his budget. So if it does goes into affect, blame them too.

But OMG THEN WE CANT BLAME BUSH FOR EVERYTHING LIKE AIDS IN AFRICA!!!

 I blame them also.

Did anyone actually say Bush was to blame for AIDS in Africa? Are you just making it up because you think that's what progressives believe?

Also, politics has degraded into such a transparent farce of focus tested lines, and constant childish mudslinging, and corruption that todays youth is totally disenfranchised by politics and highly cynical towards the whole process of modern government. One candidate is as corrupt, phony, and arrogant as the next, and no matter who you choose it's the wrong choice. Thusly they have no interest in attempting to change something that obviously they have no power to change. Honestly what is somebody going to do? Vote Ron Paul? Yeah, that's gonna work. Having the benefits of the information age gives us a detailed look at exactly what has happened, and what's happening. And it's a very bleak picture.

Its definitely a sad state of affairs. Unfortunately, most in the U.S. don't pay attention to any of this or even bother to vote. Its absolutely despicable that the Republicans want to spend so much on a completely unjustified war and cut the medical funding of the needy and elderly.

I'm going to fight like hell for a change.

What the hell business is it for the government to be funding the healthcare of the needy and the elderly? Seriously, it is not even an employer's obligation to give you healthcare coverage, and we don't even work for the government, we are citizens. Clinton is the devil and has every intention of turning every decent man in this country into a wussy and she'd castrate us if she could. Look I do NOT like George W. Bush, but I did vote for him twice (my mistake, no I take that back I'd never vote for a democrat with what they stand for today). I am going to stop now before I get more riled up because I am about to go to bed. I have to get up early to go to my job where I am fortunate enough to have great healthcare. By the way, I just started this job, I exercised my right to responsibility and left the company I was before (that had poor healthcare) and went to a new job! You can do it too.

Now let everyone say I'm a "rich, arrogant, bigotted, racist Republican pig" because that is all any responses to my post will be.

Oh, and tell that "unjustified war" bullshit to my brother-in-law (he served in Iraq) and he would probably break your neck. He has said that many Iraqis are extremely grateful for what we did for them.

but celebrities tell us the war is unjustified, I mean ALec Baldwin, Sean Penn, Chris Rock all said it is unjustified, before the US invaded it was a land were rivers of chocolate ran freely and children played happily in the streets, and they never ever blew each other up, and Saddam Huissein was like a beloved father to the people and he never defied any UN resolutions or invaded other contries or attempted to wipe out the Kurds

No, he's just kidding (exaggerating).
It's kind of tiring to see all of this "Bush is the most evil, corrupt man to ever walk the earth" rhetoric.  He's made a bunch of dumb decisions, but this country has had plenty of mediocre presidents.

IT'S BUSH'S FAULT THAT I'M NOT DOING WELL IN MAH CHEMISTRY 2!!!11!!1  IT'S BUSH'S FAULT THAT MAH DINNER BURNEDED!!11!

Good healthcare is in the interest of everyone... Its in the interest of business owners that their employees are in good health. Sick employees = lower efficiency. The budget Bush is proposing exceeds 3 trillion dollars, and I think most people would agree that health care should be a higher priority than waging war.  I have wonderful health care through my employer, thank you. Not everyone has had the opportunities I have had.

It really is a shame that you think the only responses to your post would accuse you of racism and bigotry. You didn't mention race at all. Why would you even bring that up? You are clearly a very angry person and very out of touch with reality. Instead of getting so riled up that you can't sleep and ranting about stereotypes of progressives, you could make a coherent argument. You might even persuade people to agree with your opinions if you do.

My friend Rhonda just got back from Iraq, she worked at a Hospital inside the green zone and she thinks the war is completely unjustified and greatly resents an administration which she thinks is using our military as an expendable commodity. Your statement that your brother-in-law would break my neck is one of the most infantile things I have ever seen on this forum. Please, grow up.

What has U.S. military intervention done for Iraq? I can cite numerous articles which show an overwhelming majority of Iraqis think they were better off under Saddam Hussein.

Wrong question. It should be, how do the people elected him, twice, sleep at night?

Bush is surely in a cozy bed while you suckers...

The Church of Freeman

All in all your just another brick in the wall.

You know what Iraq needs? Gordon Freeman. Within 24 hours there would be no war.

Bush actually did a very smart thing. He convinced the citizens that the biggest thing affecting their lives was terrorism and he was the only one who could "stop" the terrorists. Unfortunately for the citizens, they didn't realize terrorism has, to date, only affected a small proportion of the population, the economy, health care, social assistance however affect just about everyone and he's basically destroying those.
