I said it'll get 94-95. Well err actually original estimate was 92-93 but I was wrong xD. As soon as like 20 reviews came in, I said it will end 94-95 even though it was like 96-97 then.

Though the infected in Last of Us arent technically Zombies, they arent that different. But one thing I thought when I first played this game, the Infected made Zombies look obsolete :)

Played 3-4 hours myself in the last two days, can't say I'd give it a 9.8 but it certainly is a terrific game! There are a couple of things that sort of annoy me but overall it's a smooth and rich and truly exciting experience.

Halo was a sequel
Mario was more Mario but not a sequel
Last of Us was a new ip

I will, but I already sense that gameplay-wise, it's not nearly a perfect score for me. I enjoy the setting and the characters a great deal, the writing and animation is sublime but I take issue with a couple of gameplay choices.

Probably one of the best games made in the last 5-6 years.
