Around the Network

Let's start this over, I can see Nintendo being pressure to make the Wii U region Lock free, if fans ask for it.

Don’t follow the hype, follow the games

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen.

Lol. But on topic (?!), that would be very nice. Maybe Sony s decision has got to do with the charging for netplay.

Listening to consumers isn't the cool thing to do. And Nintendo is too cool.

You should fix your OP. :)

I doubt Nintendo would change it. Plus there is no way you'll get enough internet rage to help with that as DRM was a bigger issue for the masses.

Here put this in your OP: (stolen from GAF similar thread)

As you know, every Nintendo home console since the NES and every handheld since the DSi has made use of region-locking. This has kept many region-exclusive titles out of the hands of otherwise prospective customers. If it hadn't been for the original DS being region-free, not many in the West would've been able to play Ouendan and turn it into a a cult hit.

Now during E3, more than ever, is our chance to tell Nintendo that we want the Wii U and 3DS to be made region-free. Please help in any way that you can.

Here's a Miiverse post to "Yeah" and add your words of support: https://miiverse.nintendo.net/posts/...UxwX1GQ?sctw=1

On Twitter, use hash tag #EndRegionLocking and follow @EndRegionLock.

Also be sure to mention that you'd like to see region-free systems on Club Nintendo surveys!

While localizations are wonderful and will always have their place, the value of consumer choice in determining what games to consume cannot be denied.

Thanks for your help.

Superchunk: In that case, can you make a topic an this matter and I'll do my part of spreading the words. Thanks for the info btw :3

No go ahead. I was just adding in the twitter info so people know how to make a stand if they so choose.

Honestly i don't know if the fight is worth it in Wii U's case. No Japanese games worth getting, you see. (no Japanese games at all from what the lineup seems to be showing...)

For 3DS, now, that would be a thing...

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Can Nintendo actually do in mid Gen???
