It's a good and bad thing that people make up their minds so quickly. Isn't it?

I won't deny that. They did really good with PSN+ and their 1st party games are top notch. But they did all of those because they were getting their ass handed to them by the 360 and Wii. Do you remember how bad the PS3 was in it's first 2 to 3 years? It's not because they care for the gamer but because they need to survive the generation. |
I dont care why they are doing it, I care what they are doing. Of course the 360 helped them get better, and now they are making the one better. Regardless of their reasoning i only look at the value that we are given. That is what matters, and they win there. Anything else is fanboy territory

Thanks to them MS dropped out the DRM plans. When MS saw they were losing, they succumbed to the power of consumers.
MS still lost me as a customer for having the audacity of trying such a dick move on gamers. I just bought a PS3 and will be buying PS4.
never left xbox family.
I knew they will come to their senses.
PS4 is still my first choice, I trust in their first parties more than I do microsoft.
Was always going to pick up an Xbox1, but much later down the line. If anything I dissapointed we won't get to see the outcome of MS trying something new, I would have preferred them take the risk. They were never going to outsell the ps4 at launch, not with Europe being so heavily in Sony's corner.
I never left the Xbox camp but now I'm more excited than ever knowing there is nothing holding it back now and its a true console race. Killer Instinct here I come.

LIke I said, E3 has already passed. Sony won that week. They got the most positive press and that's that.
Microsoft reacted to Sony's PS4 policies.
PS4.
I'm back in the xbox family. In retrospect I'm glad that MS received as much backlash as they did. They needed the wake up call.
At the end of the day this was about principle. I'm always connected anyways so the new (or should I say old) policies wouldn't have affected me much in the grand scheme of things. Its just about trust as sony said.
I've always said that if they remove the policies I would buy one eventually. It will probably be the same as this generation. I buy for the exclusives, and mainly use my Playstation and PC.
