Sony has 5 esclusives announced, Microsoft more then 10

If you watched the spike/GT live show they said the PS4 had 44 games announced before their press conference and after the Microsoft one, and the Xbone had 40. So, at least 5 more on the PS4 and still lots of their internal studios havent announced their games.

No. Xbox One still has problems which are

-$499 price point despite being less powerful than PS4
-Kinect is required to be plugged in

They eliminated the biggest issue which was DRM though so gamers win.

If you think about it though, what does this say about Microsoft? The weren't confident enough to go through with their plans. The fact that they went this far with it is very alarming. For the all the shit they were getting for the DRM, it did have some positives such as:
-10-people shared library
-Games installed on HDD so no need to swap discs

These positives are gone now and they were potentially big advantages over the PS4 for someone who doesn't mind DRM.

If they make an sku kinect free drop price to $399 I see M$ beating the PS4 in the states since the Xbox brand is stronger than playstation here.

no it doesnt. its still 100$ bucks cheaper and has more powerful hardware. X1 has more exclusives announced but we know exclusives wont be a problem for Sony since they said 20 exclusives will be published by sony in the first year, 5 more than MS. just wait for gamescon and TGS.

All right, but most of those games where multiplat titles and only 5 of them where PS4 exclusives

Killzone, Infamous, Knack, Driveclub where announced at the PS4 reveal so technically there was only 1 new PS4 exclusive announced at the Sony press conference

sorry but if they can remove the restrictions overnight whats stopping them from re implementing them once the console has been released, some people may be overjoyed but some will not forget they tried to restrict gamers knowing that no one liked the online pass yet initially tried to force DRM, they should have done a poll to see how many people would buy a console with so many restrictions first rather than just try to force gamers to have DRM.

like it or not sony are still ahead in terms of pre-orders and again no one will forget that microsoft were going to force DRM weather you liked it or not.

The marketing is shrinking but Sony was a good position because they had a chance to cannibalize the MS market.

Now it seems that we are going to a similar XBox One / PS4 install base size again, now even Nintendo is back the race because so far MS and Sony are not going after the Nintendo market, hence Nintendo is not affected to MS move like Sony *in theory* was.

Well they have a ton of shit and mud still on their face. But they've stood up and made a movement towards recovery.
