Big games like Uncharted don't sell well digitally, the majority has it on a physical format. Rayman Origins, Little Big Planet and also Ragnarok Odyssey (Digital Only) sell bigger than that ratio..

Another thing, about these AC and COD games, the lastest update was based on physical and digital sales i guess ? Cause their bundle contain a PSN download code, at least that's what I've heard.

You'd be surprised. Plenty of Vita games that have a physical format has plenty of reviews on the store.

Current top sellers on Japan PSN:
1. Ratchet&Clank (digital only)
2. Valhalla Knights 3 (retail)
3. Gravity Daze ("the best" series retail discounted)
4. torne (paid app)
5. Oboro Muramasa (retail)
6. Photokano Kiss (retail)
7. GuiltyGear (digital only)
8. Soul Sacrifice (retail)
9. BlazBlue (retail discounted)
10. Persona 4 Golden (retail)

not bad.. only if Hardware sales have been 8x current level..

The PS shop says Ragnarok odyssey is a sucess, but i dont know what that means. Its Sony themselves that should reveal the numbers. Since they dont i wonder if its not that great. One thing is certain though. The Vita has captured 5 million of hardcore gamers in their ranks. We buy alot of games. and are the userbase that is desired, but i wonder if companies can see through that (depite beeing told so at E3).

The Vita has alot of potencial if its suported. Just like the 3DS did really. This talk that phones and tablets are the craze is nosense. What changed is that the costumers have less money to spend and are pickier about their games. A console needs to have a quality offering in quantity before people jump in.

now lower the damn memory card prices

This is why i will not buy digital. anything digital i have is from ps+ or a crossbuy from ps3. im so gald for the cloud game saves on my vita so i can shuffle games when need to and not lose my saves.

Pretty good sales for the fact Vita is now at over 5 million. I feel sorry for those who bought Call of Duty, that looks awful. At least, Uncharted did better. That is my favourite game on Vita right now.

Xbox One, PS4 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Firstly in your example, it should be x(2/3) what you have written isn't quite right...

Secondly, good to see some games are selling. I have just convinced my brother to buy one and he is interested in going all digital, but then of course gets to the memory card pricing issue. The other thing to consider is that the Vita sold him on PS+ so he'll mostly get games from there. I don't know if that is a positive or a negative for Sony?

The other thing is that lots of people, my brother included, are more interested in the more indie games rather than the card based games. I think we will never see very good Vita boxed game sales, but maybe hardware sales will start to increase as all these small titles come to Vita

No the equation is right. The sales shown on VG are 2/3 of actual sales so dividing that by 2 gives you 1/3 of actuall sales then if you multiply 1/3 by 3 then you get 1 or all of the sales.

You mean the right thing, but you have written the wrong thing mathmatically. You have written 967,074/6... It is a small point, I am just being pedantic

 967,074/2x3=1,450,611
