The Xbox One will not feature.....a power button?

This is from the Official Xbox One twitter support btw.

Expecting a ton of confused people day one if true.

UPDATE: apparently the Twitter support is not entirely informed about the Xbox One, it does appear to have a power button. Mods please delete.

"It does have a power button on the controller and on the console."

"since the xbox one doesn't have a power button, and you turn it on by saying 'xbox on' ...how will a mute gamer get to use it?"

"The console can be turned on by pressing the power button, or the Xbox button on the controller. ^JI"

That has to be fake, considering they said you could turn off the voice commands.

Gotta hand it to them.

They really put their money where their mouth is when it comes to Kinect 2.0.

Kind of bold if you ask me. People today are used to push a button when they want an electronics device to turn on but it 20 years it may be expected for devices to turn on automatically when we are about to use them.

Also... In before someone says " So if Kinect 2.0 microphone breaks my Xbox One can not turn on??? Microsoft sucks again."

I'll just copy and paste what I posted in the old locked thread.

All i heard is that you can turn of the camera part but not the voice commands.  Did they confirm you can turn off voice commands as well? If they confirmed that then what is the point of the kinect being required to connect all the time?

If true.... man ms is just trying to exclude as many people as possible. Im sure def people enjoy playing games. Sure its a fraction of the user base but a couple hundred here and a few million without internet, no deployed soldiers, students who live in dorms..... it adds up

You can turn on the 360 with the controler i rarely use the power buton on the actual console.
Ms should let us personalize the voice inputs in the console ,so instead of saying "xbox on" i would clap and the sistem would turn on so badass.

This would have been a stupid move

Lol some people were ready to defend it not having a power button

XD

Anybody who would've thought different would have been an absolute hater lol
