So I decided to get watchdogs for launch, but can't decide between these two awesome shooters. Here some background info for you. I enjoyed both killzone 2 and 3. As for battlefield, I played bad company 2 which I thought was excellent. I never got to play bf3 since I was, well not sure lol. So which do you think would be the better purchase. No, a reason cannot be because bf4 is an ea game xD

BF4 if you value multiplayer a lot. It will have better, more advanced multiplayer.

For SP obviously Killzone, since it's more open and has more freedom to take on objectives in the order you want.

Battlefield will have the same multiplayer as the third entry, if you liked it than you won't be dissapointed. Also the single player campaign seems to be very similar, so a lot of eye candy and scripted events, to cater to the Call of Duty crowd, for me personally it is like non-existent.

Killzone SF will definitely exceed in single player campaign, but we pretty much don't know anything about the multiplayer component now, and given how much the single player changed since Killzone 3, we really don't know what to expect. There is also the thing of what you prefer technical-wise, cause Battlefield will be 60fps with sub-par visuals, Killzone SF 30fps with better visuals, from the gameplays it looks like a rock solid 30fps stable framerate, so I would go for the latter, but that's just me.

Do we know anything about Killzone's multiplayer? Seems from that ad that single player and multiplayer can be installed separately, which is pretty cool.

If the battlefield 4 campaign is half as bad as the battlefield 3 campaign then you already have the most boring game this year.

Will get Killzone SF for PS4
BF4 for PC maybe. Because i'm more of a single player guy.

Killzone if you want a great single and multiplayer (&co-op)

Battlefield if all you want to do is play multiplayer

I plan to buy both, if you must choose 1 of them- go with the exclusive in Killzone. Both impressed at E3.. The building falling down in Battlefield was amazing.

If the game mode Operations comes back in SF in a bigger way (all the maps and more events) together with Warzone then go for SF. At least if you like that kind of MP but there is no information about that part. Wait until Gamescom to decide perhaps because I think by then we'll have more info on both games.

I have the same problem but I pick KZ at launch and BF a couple of months later.
