You guys are looking at it strictly as a game console. The PS4 is no doubt a game console but the Xbox One is more. At the moment casuals will not be picking up the Xbox One but in 3-4 years when the price drops drastically you will see MS tout the media functionalities. If the casuals like what they see then the Xbox One will be huge in the US. It could very well win this generation in the long run. Regardless I'm getting both but I'm going Xbox One first.

well like someone said, bottom line it's the profit generated by the consoles that is relevant to MS....they could sell half the number of unit than sony if they have double the profit margin they will trump Sony in terms of profitability which is what really matters.... I'm taking a lot of shortcuts here.... but I have no doubt XB1 will be a commercial success even if it's not number one..... like this gen.... PS3 might be second right now (and it still has to be proven that it will not change again before the end of the current gen).... XB360 is a better commercial success than PS3 is.....

Not happening. PS4 has something for everyone and the Wii U will have a bunch of Nintendo games. Also, THEY DON't HAVE USED GAMES FEE.
