How much was real/fake?

100% real, no BS 26 37.68%

Mostly real, a little bit... 17 24.64%

50/50 I'd say, not entirely convinced 15 21.74%

Mostly BS, it's Square Enix! 6 8.70%

All BS, FF13 taught us this a long time ago! 5 7.25%

Total:69

All of the battle system footage was real, You can't teleport infinitely. There is a teleport gauge down at the HP location. Every time he teleports the bar decreases. And the teamwork is not something you can do by yourself, At the behemoth scene you could see that whoever was playing for the trailer was luring him to do a attack so the teamwork thing could start.
Nomura is awesome man and I have faith in him. I call nothing is BS in this footage.

I'm not stressing, it looks like a neato action rpg.

at worst it's kingdom hearts in final fantasy land (which is still fun). I'd hope that skipping a generation would give nomura more tools to make the combat/scripted events more dynamic.

I love how FFXV looks, The graphics are amazing and Gameplay seems really fun, It just saddens me that SqareEnix has taken The Final Fantasy franchise to a Hack And slash way of gameplay :(

They should have made this a Final Fantasy spin off.

And I think alot of it is gameplay

The gameplay trailer was pretty much gameplay, and you can see he does lots of wacky stuf midbattle, the Sony conference trailer had lot of scripted bits but had some gameplay too as well.

And i think FFXV is coming next year or maybe close to Japanese launch of PS4 wich should be early next year and them itll get localised and come to us by the end of 2014, Nomura said theyd only work on KH3 once FFXV (Versus XIII on the time) was ready or near ready, so if they are now working on KH 3 its safe to asume FF XV is comming soon.

I expect to hear alot more from Squenix on TGC, Sony said we should expect big things on TGC, that they saved some surprises for it.

I think action rpg is the way to go, the only reason it wasn't always like that was because of tech limitations. it would look uncanny if many of those huge worlds rpgs were all turn based. That said, I hope square hits the spot on this one because i don't think they'll have another chance.

Did you actually watch the 5 minute battle trailer?

Different to the Sony presentation? No.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

It's actually only 4 minutes long.

Nomura wont or more like CANNOT let us down, there's simply so much pressure placed upon him.

I say that the battle trailer was mostly real, and actually, I think some parts of the graphics look bad on a technical level, but are covered by the awesome art direction.

There are some blurry textures, and specially, some very low res and sluggish shadows. But still, looks really good.
