You sure you're not drunk?

I'm 2 hours into it. I'm trying to take it easy and really explore every area as much as possible. So far, I am loving it. I feel so tense playing it.

Me and my bro have been playing the multiplayer and it is pretty fun.

I like the honesty.

It starts slow.  I'm only 4 hours in.  I'm hoping it picks up.

The graphics are beautiful, but the pace is just slow for me.  Also, the stuff polygon was saying about the behaviour of your companion AI characters is true.  The women that you travel with are always in the way.  I mentioned this to my friend today and he said "isn't that an accurate depiction of real life?"  He has a point.

The shooting is fine.  The wobbly shooting that people talked about hasn't been a problem for me - but those zombies are bullet sponges. This game isn't a run and gun game anyways.

I'm definitely dying more in this game than I normally do in games.  The game is unforgiving towards stupid mistakes.  I've been one hit killed by the clickers several times, often because I was experimenting, seeing how close I could get to them without being detected.

The stuff about the plot being so dramatic that people teared up?  Nah...  it's pretty standard stuff and fairly predictable so far.

I can't say the game made me sad.  But I will say; the game really picks up.  The story is pretty relentless too.  Plus it's a pretty intense game, I had to put it down a few times.

lol is that supposed to be a review?

I agree with the score though.

"I'm dying a lot" sounds promising. Is that on normal or hard?

I'm playing on Normal. I dunno, maybe I suck.

Some enemies kill you instantly and it appears they don't have to be particularly close. I'm getting caught by them a lot, especially when they are in groups.

If I just looked for the exits I'd probably die less, but I'm enjoying exploring the levels thoroughly.

Well you're a hell of a lot better than me.

Yeah, as soon as one finds you, they all know where you are (Kinda cheap).  You really have to play this game Metal Gear style.  It's pretty punishing early on.  But as you gain more crafting materials and weapons you can fight your way through most parts.

Is this game over rated?
