Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Microsoft responds to military complaints. Top rated MSNBC Host chimes in, as does Maj. Nelson.

What I am curious about in the 2nd response is this:

"As long as the game has been activated in the US"

Doesn't that imply that someone in Iceland can't import a XBox One, create a UK account and use that to play games?

How would that work? Could they tell where you are?

That has to do witht he simple fact this article was in regards to US military.

I know, but my issue was then saying that he could take his games with him on tour as long as he first activated in the country he purchased them from.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

I wonder if this will be a big deal in the US? One of those "Why does Microsoft hate America?" scenarios.

They should be killing people not play video games what the hell happen to humanity when men at war complain about toys

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Soldiers need a way to unwind and take their minds off the shit they experience on a daily basis.

For an American company, that's being anti-American.

PS4: America, Fuck yeah!!!

Unless Microsoft makes some way for exceptions to the online rule (or reverses it), Sony could pull a huge PR victory at launch by holding an event where they donate some PS4s to some troops.

Get the media there to cover it, plaster it on the nightly news, talk about how the Xbox One can't be used by the troops so they're giving them PS4s, and how they support their service, etc. Millions of Americans will be in tears over how good willed Sony is and how unpatriotic the new Xbox is. It's a PR nightmare just waiting to happen!

Well they should be allowed to have sex with hookers and smoke weed. Like back in Nam.

Those were the days...

Japanese comapny supports American troops better than the American company. This is nothing new. Japanese automobiles have been doing this for years and only recently have American cars caught up on an economical level.

Love Microsoft's response. Basically tells them they should stick with the 360.
