lol and why couldn't you sell it.... it's not like you can't log your account on any XB one at any time you want or create a new one.... this question is stupid in the first place.... if you can move the console and log more than one account you can sell it....

trying to dig so much shit on the one and only that soon they won't even know what they are talking about.... heck I'm glad they try so hard by the end of it people will be so tired that at launch nothing will be remembered due to overload of BS....

oh well I thought the forum was too quiet man I got serve this E3.... best E3 ever I laughed hard and got plenty of goodies to look forward to..... keep the BS post coming I need to be entertained... :) it's getting better than the onion around here.....

but you have to do 24h check ups on your console and have to do hourly check ups in a friend console, so MS knows if you are on your console or not...

As stupid as it sounds, the support staff cannot just make answers based on their logical sense, since the topic got rather complicated lately. That's not their fault. They can only give out information that is 100% confirmed even if somebody asks something stupid like this. Microsofts PR, the media and us gamers (in that order) are to blame for what just happens now and the support staff has the ungrateful pleasure to give exact information to a unbelievable amount of questions - some stupid like this one - in a calm and friendly way.

the hourly check is if you take your game to your friend and play with his account on his console if i remember correct.

i think a game will be tied to the console and the account. as long as you play the game on the console you bought it for or use the account the game was bought for, the 24 hours check should be the standard procedure.

Is there anything that these Xbox support people can confirm? Anything at all?

normally they are to help you if you have problems with your console or live and not for a console not on the market. not sure if other companies even have this kind of twitter support but if hey have, will they tell you stuff about products releasing in half a year? serious question since i don't know it but doubt it.

Customer support is only going to confirm what they've been told they can confirm. If you asked if the XO could transform into a robot, customer support might say "we don't have that information right now" and it would be valid. Their job is to not give wrong answers, even if they're 95% sure.

This, at least, is meaningless. Customer support isn't there to answer questions about a console that hasn't even been released.

No reason why you can't sell it. It's not like they'll tie it down to the first registered account which cannot be undone. That would be beyond stupid. My Windows Phone 7 is like that which is beyond stupid. But I can purge it and resell for sure.
