Even after the patch the Ai still dump and easy ! What the patch did exactly other than fixing the autosave bug ?

I don't think you're playing the same game as many of us. The A.I. is anything but dumb.

I'm 11 hrs in, I've faced all the enemies I need to. At times, the A.I. can be hit and miss, yes, but no where close to your exaggeration.

thats exactly what happend with me but with a horde of enemies

and i will tell you where exactly, when you face the hunters for the second time and you go the stairs up there is a window to the right  jump from it and shoot one bullet you will see all the enemies in the area gathered in one place  to the left of  the window where the broken ladder is and non of them shoot ?!

Guys please finish the game and return. It really gradually gets more and more amazing :P

Funnily enough, like almost everyone, it, too, praises the enemy A.I. We can't all be crazy!

7 hours in and I am really enjoying this game

I should say that playing on normal feels too easy. I don't have a huge amount of ammo, as that is impossible given the limitations on your inventory, but basically everything else is full.

So got back today to play TLoU, but everytime I try to install the update the system powers off. Anyone know why, or if it's a common fault?

It's done this 3 times, but not on any other game.

Your PS3 sounds like it's kicking da bucket. I hope not, though. :/

I fear it may be, we have had ot since launch. Thousands of hours of fun, there. But fortunately Ive just tried again and it's working so onwards to the game!

I haven't tried it on normal, but I thought that the hard setting was fairly difficult.  I died countless times, and I always felt that I was low on blade parts to make shivs or explosives.  I just started replaying the game on survivor and the fact that you can't use Joel's hearing "radar" already ramps up the difficulty.
