Genuine question. What's your take on the controversial policies and blatent lying that MS have been doing about the "Power of the cloud" to convince consumers an always online console that blocks used games is the future?

Internet check, well, how exactly this was bad for SImCity and Diable 3 sales (another fanboyism backslash aside)? Dont you think your ipad kinda useless without it too?

The lower the ranking # the better.

If this was a scale out of 20,000 then WSHH would be 799/20000.

To clarify some things:
MS going into all digital way. Don't be confused by physical disc sales - this is caveman way to buy digital game.
Don't you remember how steam started? When Half-Life 2 was released, even when you buy physical disc copy, it would not work without internet connection, it was mandatory to all Valve games at the time.
And that happened now to pc retail sales, almost non-existence.

Yep, games are good, as are the entertainment features. 

With regards to the DRM, Xbox does allow the sale of licenses so that's a plus there, even if it is a monopoly from MS. But don't you think that physical discs should not be treated in the same way as digital download content? Also steam is quite different to Microsofts solution, both have advantages and disadvantages. But in this case i'd say that steam has a better solution than MS due to the fact it's not a monopoly. 

Internet checks did affect sim city, and with ubisoft gamers were able to convince them to do a uturn. The online check is only there because of the problem of physical discs being a license. So do you think it'd be better if Microsoft went digital download only? Because otherwise i'd say the online check is more of a hinderance for people who are buying the Xbox with the mindset that they're going to buy disc based content only. Because they would likely expect to be able to play their discs without an internet connection.

It only affects games in the matter - you can't play it, because servers were overload. Not gonna happen to MS (Why no Poland in launch countries, my guess is not good enought MS server infrastructure).

They are lying to themselves. MS clearly stated, you NEED internet connection to own Xbox One, if you dont, buy 360.

But what i'm saying is that the average Joe is going to go out and buy an Xbox and expect it to work like the 360 don't you think. I can't see anywhere on the amazon pre order page or others that says the Xbox requires an internet connection. I'm not saying people don't have internet, a lot of people do. But the fact is that a lot of consumers don't know what will happen if say their internet drops out for a couple of days. 

Sure but going back to my question, do you think physical discs should be treated the same as digital download now? Do you think the Xbox should go digital only or is planning to go digital only. And why do you think that's a better option for gamers. Especially those that don't have a stable internet connection.
