Capcom says Dead Rising 3 couldn't have been achieved without Microsoft

The console is also capable of spawning as many zombies as the developer wants.

Although Dead Rising 3 'would probably have seen the light of day' even without Microsoft's input, Capcom isn't sure it could have achieved it on its own.

Speaking to VideoGamer.com at E3, art director Alan Jarvis said:"Xbox One allows Dead Rising 3 to exist. The way Nick reacts to explosions, his animations, the amount of guns in the game. I don't think we could have achieved this on our own."

Much like the original, the third instalment is an Xbox exclusive, and while it was initially being developed on high-end PCs, Capcom also admitted that there had never been a time where Dead Rising 3 was in production for PS4.

The developer also had to scale back the amount of zombies it had on screen due to the game 'being completely unfun to play' such is the number it can now get on screen.

You cut off the title, it should read "Capcom says Dead Rising 3 couldn't have been achieved without Microsoft tucking cash into their back pockets"

Yeah, like you can say everything a dev says nowadays is bullshit when they praise one company. But let the fans have their fun - on either side.

So Dead Rising to Microsoft is like Bayonetta to Nintendo.

Both games that wouldnt of come out unless the ones who published them paid for it. Just shows you how much faith the developers have in their IPs lol.

Should of at least made it console exclusive on Xbox One and released it on PC :(

No.
