This is actually really good news.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

thats what annoyed me about all the psychotic rants. its like the reading comprehension went out the window. they always tie the cant lend to a friend to the give policy. the give policy is for those that want to gift or give their game away, not let borrow. and if i give you something should i care if you cant give it to someone else. and if i give it to you then of course i cant give it to anyone else because i'm not the owner anymore. but but but i cant let my friend borrow my game. you don't have to when they can share your entire game library without even getting your disc.

now the only policy that really need clarifying "any one of your family members can be playing from your shared library at a given time."

is that anyone or just one which would be lame. considering you might have 2 consoles in your house that leaves no room for sharing.

i swear i can do better pr than those shit for brains they have working for microsoft right now can.

That is what I thought when I first read about this, but I was waiting for more clarification. Seems like a really good policy. I see a lot of positives.

Just read the whole article at arstechnica, and it all sounds so reasonable. Even brilliant. MS couldn't have fucked-up as badly as they did, for as long as they did, and then decide to stupidly sit on this info for months, right through E3, could they? This has to be a recent decision. Regardless, I like it a lot.

the gaffers are confused lol.... when you're pissed at something you are blind. helps to slow down and let your cerebral cortex do just a little work.

people ticked at have one gripe buying and selling without the 3rd party(gamestop). that's a sticky point that cant be resolved

Finally good news. Sharing like that is way better than having to walk a mile to a friends house just to give him a game. Good job, MS.

If MS would make a how-to video on this, they would absolutely trump Sony's lending video. Trolling the troll.

thats  the problem their pr has just been in a shit hole.  they posted the policies http://news.xbox.com/2013/06/license but people still read what they wanted to read while others just regurgitate what they heard.  so even if they read it they were tainted

smh see its a shame when even the xbot supporters didnt  read it as written.  talk about crappy pr  license posted june 6th

So you know what this means right? We all need to form groups of 10 (based on similar game interests). Then you can split the cost of a game via Paypal, and take turns playing that game (just not simultaneously).

What I hate about all this DRM crap (besides costing me more money) is that it just makes shit more complicated.  Microsoft would have been better off going all in, and just making a trading market where you can sell the game (license) for whatever you want (like ebay, just for games, but M runs it).  They then just simply take a sale fee like ebay would.  This would work for disc or digital downloads, since the market would be all about buying and selling licenses.... Yeah craigslists would be out, but at least the market could dictate the used resale price then.

In my opinion, they could have done that or just leave it as is this gen.
