So, now we know all the prices of next gen. Nintendo has nothing to worry about price wise to the xbox one. The ps4 though is close in price to the wii u. So, do you think that the wii u should have a price cut? If so when? If you think it's fine at $350, then why?

For one thing, here in USA it starts at $300.

For another thing, it's the content that will drive sales long term. I mean look at the PS3; I'm sure lower price helped, but the value proposition added over time mainly contributed to where it is now.

If Nintendo were smart, they'd be looking at what they can do to similarly turn Wii U around and add better value.

The $399 PS4 is subsidized by a subscription model for online multiplayer, but the WiiU has enough digital sales to make up the loss (cutting out the retailer).

An ambassador program with some down loadable game cube or wii games would also help given the 2014 date on a lot of games that we have been waiting for.

Cut the Basic. Lower Premium price to $299. Bundle it with Mario and/or Donkey Kong this holiday. Give me a job, at least as a PR guy.
