Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut is No Longer a Wii U Exclusive

The Director's Cut is coming to the 360, PS3, PC, and Mac.

Square Enix has confirmed that Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut is no longer exclusive to the Wii U, and will be releasing on 360, PS3, PC and Mac.

This is frustrating news for Wii U owners who were told that this version of the game would have features only capable on the Wii U. This begs the question: was that simply not true or are the Wii U specific features being ported to the other systems somehow?

Third parties enjoy abusing Nintendo, don't they? Wasn't this promoted as exclusive? BAH.

No, Square Enix wasn't lying, they just changed their mind. Gamepad support isn't exactly a game-changing feature. Besides, this is pretty much the same game released last year, just with more content, isn't it?

Didn't see that one coming, lol.

Already have the Augmented Edition on 360, but will double dip on this for PC :)

No. It's a revamped gameplay. Altered sequences and boss battles are changed to fit the original Deus Ex-play-like-you-want style, plus with the two DLCs incorporated already in the game. That was game-changing.

Well I already own the Augmented Edition on 360 so I don't think I'll be getting this. Poor news for Nintendo though, they just can't seem to catch a break.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

i have now lost interest in the game. I could've picked this game up months ago and didn't. I guess there's no such thing as a wii u exclusive unless it's coming directly from Nintendo. Third parties are definitely losing interest in the system.

And when they did the interview they had the nerve to say that they hoped this game would help push units.

Ok thanks for the update. What made people think this wasn't possible on current gen though?

Nothing, really. Thing is, this was announced as an exclusive for WiiU, so that the gamepad could be used (Especially for the hacking minigame), and to show appreciation from a third-party to Nintendo. But guess not. Except for the gamepad support, there's nothing in this Director's Cut that can't be implemented on seventh gen consoles.
