Forums - Nintendo Discussion - I have never seen Nintendo so out of touch.

Only mario kart 8 and X look decent to my eyes. wind waker remake is kinda cool I guess, now with the bottle messaging system it may be fun but... Nothing else really stands out and barelly go beyong the "meh" line for me.

Don't remember feeling like this for Nintendo hardware never...

(3DS not included on this sentiments)

I still need to watch the Direct.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

X and Smash saved it, but the rest?

Eh.........................meh expect for MK8

It doesn't surprise me that this was a divisive E3.

However, I don't see how it's the worst one. This was several times better than the last couple of E3s combined.

There was barelly anything new to get excited for, lacking such wow factor is not what I remember Nintendo for.

They sacrificed more power in the box to have a fancy tablet controller, and yet in the trailers they completely fail to mention any implementation of it at all ?

Also, this is second wave of software, there should be games showcasing a more decent level of graphics and physics, but appart of X that clearly seems like a next gen game, and mario kart 8 to a less degree, the software just looked... 360ish...

They also refuse to acknowledge online play where as Mario Kart on the Wii's online worked so well - if you're gonna have a 4 player mario game, put it online for gods sake.

They're so stuck in their ways it's not even funny anymore - I said give me galaxy or brand new Zelda game and you can have my money for a Wii u and here i am still waiting.

Is it because it didn't receive the flare and excitement of the bigger shows? It's the only one haven't watched yet.

Do it. You'll not be able to go through it without smiling at least five times =P

The showing is really positive and wonderful.

Do you really believe the internet infrastructure can properly handle the precision and fast reaction speed of a Mario title?

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

The show itself was more of the usual. It`s good for a non E3 period, but for E3 it lacked excitement.
The games were all good to great, but the problem is that not only you basically knew anything already since January and basically there were a bunch of stuff not there: virtual console games, Yoshi (coming this year!), 3rd party games like CoD Ghosts - didn`t even get a trailer on the show.
Not even the japanese ND revealed games for that market.

Not to mention that the big reveal after the show, that left people hoping, was in fact the Wii Fit Trainer for SSB.
