Honestly he should do concept Metroid CDs while there's a lack of a game to compose for.The world doesn't deserve to be without his music just because Nintendo screwed up their schedule.

In that case I hope it's an original and melodic soundtrack. DKCR was too ambient or else remixes of past DKC tracks. Excellent remixes of DKC tracks of all kinds already exist.

I'd wager that it'll be a bit of both.

Not surprised that DKCR's soundtrack was very ambient. That's kind of Yamamoto's thing.

OK but when he chooses to do a Tallon Overworld or Sanctuary Fortress it's unbeatable.

I don't think the former would fit, but the later has a DKCR sound-alike.

And there's a Lower Norfair sound-alike, too.
