Im going with ps4 and wii-u
Nothing on xbox one to justify 500 bucks and user restrictions.

I always bought the PS console and my bro always got the other ones. Next Gen i'm not buying any and he decided to get the PS4 after yesterday.

Have a 360.
Was going to get an X1. Not going near it now.

Wow, was I wrong in thinking you had been big in the Microsoft camp?

I'm still interested just not at that price. Now it looks like I can maintain the tradition of buying the newest Xbox a year after launch.

The $499 was not that bad to me personally, just too many restrictions.

This is out of the blue, but do you still keep in touch with Machina? I really want his input on the XboxOne vs PS4 situation.

$499 might be resonable buy £430 is ... £80 overpriced.

I talk to Machina most days, he isn't bothering with PS4 and is getting a X1 when it's cheaper (thinks it's £100 overpriced) and a few games come out he wants. There was only ever 2 franchises he loved on PS3 (Team Ico stuff and Wipeout) He's excited for Mirrors Edge 2, Dead Rising 3 and The Division.

I had thought you are like the largest XBox champion on here.  I wonder what it says if even you aren't doing a day one purchase?  I don't see this promising at all.

On my end I ran into ONE person today, who was looking to eventually get an XBox ONE and that is because of the exclusives.

Sorry for misreading this.  I do recall you DID say Day one purchase for you of the One.

I actually came off impressed with the X1 press conference yesterday. Sony killed them though. The lower price point and no drm/used games restrictions really leaves me no choice.

So I'm definitely sticking to the PS4 next-gen, at least as my main platform.

Who is this Machina and does he know Mirror's Edge 2 and The Division are probably multi?

There are a number of things MS could have done and I would have 'jumped out' so to speak, thankfully everything they've done so far bar the price is actually fine with me. I'm not die hard though, I've only bought 2 or so Xbox games over the last year or so.

I may have said day one, but not since the price reveal? It's just too much!!

Used to be admin here, and yeah he knows they're multi.

Gonna stick with PS3 for the next year and then switch to PS4 after that. But I have always said, if MS announce Lost Odyssey 2 then I would buy an X1.
I'd pay the 500 bucks and let MS watch me play it with Kinect on and me in my underwear.
