Sony. No DMR, Used Games, focus on the better multiplatform games (except mgsv), and BETTER PRICE.

Sony, without a doubt.

To be fair, Microsoft did bring it with their exclusive games (Titanfall looks sick and Ryse, though not interesting on the gameplay front, really displayed next gen graphics). But the lack of actual gameplay during a lot of their announcements (in engine cutscenes are cool, but they don't count) didn't help their cause.

Sony didn't have as many exclusives to broadcast, but a lot of what they showed was what the fans wanted to see. Still, what they showed seemed more next gen to me (The Order stands out even though a lot of it was cinematic). Beyond that the announcements of price and features really stole the show. $399 for a truly next gen experience devoted to gamers! And pc gamers, please don't flame me, because I used the term nextgen for consoles when the conversation is about consoles. I know PC will always seems a generation ahead, but that's maybe for a few million players who have invested a few thousand dollars into a rig and throw hundreds of dollars more on a rig to continually upgrade it. We don't all have that luxury.

It's kind of sad that price will likely be the biggest news to come out of this conference, but in the end that's what it's about to a large portion of consumers, because not all of us have $500 or $600 to throw at a gaming machine like we were forced to by Sony last generation or Microsoft this one. I did buy a PS3 at launch myself, but at the time I had an alright paying job. Now I'm getting myself a decent degree after being laid off, so that $100 saved between these consoles (and the news that I can play my games forever like every other generation of consoles) goes a long way in my mind when making my decision come this fall.

You know... My first reaction is to go with Sony just due to announcements...but...

I have to go with Ubisoft. Both their own Conference and at the Sony were awesome for their games.

Every. Single. Game.
They showed I want. And I like their new stance on DRM.

sony's conference wasn't that good, it only looked better than it really was because of microsoft crapy policies and price for xone. and the biggest games sony showed are multiplat (FF 15 and Kingdom Hearts 3).

To me Nintendo won since it showed actual gameplay footage for LOTS of exclusive games.

Sony won because of Square-Enix alone. Apart from that and the price, their E3 was nothing special.

Objectively, Microsoft would go second, but meh, I have zero interest in any of their exclusives.

Nintendo did really well except for 3D Mario.

Overall:
Sony >>> Nintendo & Microsoft.

Microsoft is last? Just because of DRM?

Yes. They should called the Xbox One, the Xbox Lease because that's what your doing. Your leasing your software. Despite forking over $60 for a game, you don't own it. You can only play if you check in every 24 hours. Why anyone would think treating gamers like their on probation is a minor thing is beyond me. I guess the first time Anonymous brings down Xbox Live will clue people in on that the signed up for.  They'll finally realize how stupid supporting the platform is, when they can't check in with their probation officer and are denied access to the games they "bought."

You put it very harshly, but it's sadly 100% true.

TGS, Third Grade Shooter: brand new genre invented by Kevin Butler exclusively for Natal WiiToo Kinect. PEW! PEW-PEW-PEW!

I agree with you. MS destroyed everyone with non-stop games and a useless 1 out of 2 in the world car.
Sony's biggest games, at a show about games were multiplatform games! Xbox now has FF13 Versus! Sony quickly got rid of all that and dropped 3 major bombs that snatched the ball from their hands. Sony.... Bastards!

I'd say Sony gave the best presentation. Although there aren't many exclusives that would persuade me to buy the PS4 over other consoles. Microsoft is non-existant in my eyes. Nintendo was alright if you didn't hype yourself. Every game they showed I'd get, but unfortunately most of the better games won't be releasing for another year, so I'll hold off on buying a Wii U.

Overall, it was a slightly above-average E3 for me.

Sony did a good job with the games, and announcing the DRM-less PS4. The price is good too.

Nintendo's Direct wasn't really bad, but it wasn't the best.

Microsoft showed games, instead of Kinect, and that was a good strategy. Nobody can deny they had a good conference, but the controversy afterwards, and $499 price will bite the, in the butt soon.

Also, who the f*ck voted for EA????
