For ages now people have been saying that Microsoft is catering for Kinect, and that their first party lineup is all shooters. 

Microsoft certainly changed that perception this year.

With amazing titles like

Quantum Break

Killer Instinct

Project Spark

Forza 5

Black Tusk's new IP ( The ninja down the side of the skyscaper )

Ryse ( WOW )

Sunset Overdrive

Dead Rising 3

All being exclusive in the first year and not shooters. Really diverse list and plenty of genres covered. 

Then we had the awesome shooter reveals of

Titanfall

Halo 5 

Cant wait to see what Rare, Lionhead and the other first party studios have lined up for Xbox One.

Truly the best time to be an Xbox gamer is now.

On top of that every month 2 free games from Microsoft for Gold members. 

Just got my free copy of Assasins Creed 2 as I never played that game yet. 

Thanks Microsoft for building an awesome system with amazing visuals ( did you bloody see Forza 5 and Ryse, holy cow ) and for making sure the core gamers are loved. 

Sorry casual fans, there was no Kinect at E3. :(

Ryse stopped being a Kinect game it appears.

Ya weird thought it was originally a kinect only title. The game looked cool except for all those button prompts.

I was interested in seeing how they could of used the Kinect properly.  But now, it looks like it got positioned as Microsoft's answer to God of War.  I had hope it would of been KInect and involved one eventually working way up to be emperor of Rome and had to run things.

They finally make kinect take a back seat and show more non-shooters then anythign else........and MS loses for their bad policies.

Ya, ms really brought their a game with the conference. I prob enjoyed microsoft conference the most, but there policies are just bad. The price tag is too high for me to adopt early too. It is prob worth it since you get kinect, but $500, damn.

So Ryse was a Kinect game, is it not anymore?, or were they just hiding it, The D4 game was also a Kinect game and they failed to say that it was as well.

I think the mandate for the day was dont say TV dont say Kinect.

Project Spark and Sunset Overdrive are the only ones that had me genuinely excited.
