"Under certain circumstances, the creatures on this planet appear to grow larger and go berserk. The Pikmin and I must be cautious lest we lose our heads to these beasts."

"This is the capsule for the Assist Trophies. It may emit rainbow-colored lights, or even blink. Even if there's something like a Color TV-Game 15 inside…."

That looks creepy!

In case you didn't know, I have a comic book called Guardians. I'm the writer/creator of it, and we have four issues out right now, with our fifth coming out soon!

We're also doing a Patreon right now for the comic, and I'd appreciate any and all help in getting it funded. If 56 people pledged $3 per issue, we'll be funded

To pledge, click here. Please join Team Guardians!

Which is why we'll have to fall back on the future Smash League for discussion!

Anyone who wants to check out what I've planned with Smeags about it can go here: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=183486

"The leg and arm positions of some characters will automatically be mirrored when facing left or right. Mario, for example, will have his chest shown in the foreground regardless of whether he's facing right or left. This was quite a tedious task, but thanks to it we can show the best features of each character even better."

"Here's another example: in the previous games, you saw the back of Kirby's head when facing left. Now Kirby looks great from any angle."

Nintendo will give out 3,000 wristbands for the Super Smash Bros. E3 Tournament

For the second year Nintendo won’t be holding a press conference at E3. Instead it will be holding an invitational 16-man Super Smash Bros. Tournament on June 10th, which is also the first day of E3 at the Nokia Theater in Downtown LA. What is a tournament without fans in attendance? The first 3,000 people who arrive at the Nokia Theater at 9:30AM PST will receive a wristband which will get them entry into the Super Smash Bros. Tournament. It starts at 4PM PST, but fans who can’t attend will be able to watch it live via the Twitch’s E3 channel and Nintendo’s Twitch channel. Also Nintendo announced that anyone attending in cosplay as their favorite Smash Bros. character will receive priority seating for the event and may also appear on the live stream.

9.30am: 3,000 wristbands will be distributed to fans on a first-come, first-served basis at NOKIA Plaza, L.A. LIVE, 777 Chick Hearn Court in Los Angeles. Fans should not queue prior to Tuesday morning, but once a wristband is obtained you can leave the plaza area and return later in the day. The order that wristbands are obtained in the morning does not affect the order later in the day for the event.
2.30pm: Doors Open
4pm: Super Smash Bros. Invitational Begins

Also don’t forget that certain Best Buy stores will have the E3 demo of Super Smash. Bros available to play during E3, so you can have your own little mini tournament among friends.

"In previous games in the series, if you chose the red team in a team battle, your Mario would have been red. But now you can choose any color you want! The color outlining the characters will show their team affiliation."

I feel that the slow but steady trickle of information, reveals, and options in Smash Bros U is...honestly one of the most effective marketing campaigns I've ever seen.

Despite Nintendo almost never advertising their shit, they seem to be masters at it. I haven't been this excited for a game release since...well, Smash bros Brawl! (and that game did NOT disappoint)
