@Jski: I think you meant Glide Tossing. All characters can glide toss, it's just that the length of the glide toss varies from character to character. There was a thread on Smash Boards with all the info of each character's glide toss, I'll try to find it.

Edit : Not sure it's the one I read a while ago but this one will do : http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=154982

Also, it turns out some characters don't have a glide toss (like Yoshi).

Um... you corterdick your self in this post lol sheik dose not have it too toon link and link same thing um... i do not know who else but dam images if toon link and link could glide toss with there bombs.

For the life of me i cant pull it off well i am soo bad at doing tricks like that i guess my hands do not move that fast. I would play some one like pech if i could or diddy may be even rob.

items are worthless...end of story....go to any tourny that isn't promoted by gamestop and see if they play with items. items are for casuals who don't know no better

But some chaters can use items so if you chater can glide toss then its worth lurning! Aslo i think some items are ok the normal rng items but things like smash balls and other big items mess up the game a lot i mean dam it it makes zss unplayable!

Items qare worthless becuase some people think they are. Basically what you are saying.

The reason the Smash community is a laughing stalk is becuase of this attitude. Rather then approach it logically (they haven't) they say it's stupid are for casuals (a nicer way of saying retard).

Need a reason why people hate tourneyfags. Here is your answer.

@ smashchu2 i think your in the minority here with the way you see this game not to say your point of view dose not madders but this is not a means of persuading the ppl here. If you like items play with them on and or go to torments who use such items if you do not like items then play with them off and go to such torments who do not have these items on.

tourney players and casuals don't play together...so it doesn't matter.  i don't know of one person that plays with items other than my little brother seriously.  i play with people that don't go to tournies, but refuse to play with items.  items is why the 8 year old kid made it to the semi-finals at the gamestop tournament.

@ Jski; Link has a really good item boosting distance which can make up for glide tossing.

What item boosting is is pretty much a smash boost, but with an item in his hand(like his bombs) you do a sliding up throw instead of an up smash. Timied correctly, you can even make link slide and front throw(still doing an up throw animation). Here is a Video demonstration. And the original thread.

Items have absolutely no place in competive play...

I do not think i can do this my firgers do not seem to want to move fast enofe to realy pull it off.

On a side note i was reading one ppl rules for a torument for smash and well this is what it sead:

"Controllers with the springs taken out of the shoulder buttons are perfectly legal, as well as any aesthetically modified controllers. No turbo buttons or anything like that... not that I really think that would help.
Also: If you would like to have the springs taken out of your controllers (I hear it helps some people) I do have a tri wing screwdriver and will be glad to take them out for you before the tournament gets under way." From http://allisbrawl.com/ttournament.aspx?id=4448

What dose taking the spring out of the shoulder buttons do? Do you guys do this? And should i? l

It's people like you are why tournament players has such a bad reputation. Get lost.

Anyways guys, I thought I'd like to drop by because I found something really cool. (Although I may be a bit late to this)

Someone made a cool PC port of the Stage Builder. It's way easier to use and has some features that weren't used in the in-game stage builder.
