Depends on who you faced I'd suppose. Marth doesn't have a good match up against every character. Could always use Marth as your main and counterpick Meta Knight if you lose the first match.

my main concern with marth is peoples' connection... Marth won't work on someone like Fazz. I would like to Marth instead of metaknight, but I don't want to drop too far where I can't challenge the people I like.

If theirs a bad connection use Ike and its an insta win! j/k, but if you drop too far you could always switch back to Meta Knight to get back to where you'd like to be. Theres also still the friendlies option =p

When you say you main some one is it not just all words? You can play any one you want when you want. If you feel like your marth is just not cutting it then go meta all the time. It would be a good idea to have some one you have praters with who can beat the chaters who are good vs meta. Also, in true you should not let other ppl idea changes who you play even if every one played the same chater you should keep playing the one you like. (I know that i just gave an idea well you do not have to use it if you do not want to!) The main reason why i main zss or try to is because i feel she has a hugs disadvantages in her power but because of her speed its easer to bring out ones full ability of play in this game.

I don't want the same character everyone else uses. I would rather have my own style. I mained metaknight because I like the character. He's my favorite character in this game sincw Zero didn't make it in. Everyone was talking about how cheap Pit was back then, LOL. I find it ridiculas that I can play in a brawl and everyone picks metaknight... I'll go with marth, since he was tied with metaknight as my favorite when I first unlocked him. He reminds me of quite a few of my favorite anime characters. I'm just not good with him yet. I'll have to keep practicing with him so he can be just as good as my Metaknight.

Was fun, but you really need to stop relying on projectiles and KO moves.

Very nice matches Ivo! We have similar tastes in characters (both Pikachu and Kirby users) it's fun to see how we both use them differently.
