I thought the ps4 design is hideous. That is one ugly console. Xbox One is a bit better looking to me, but Wii U is definitely the sexier console in my opinion. Slim, quiet and comes in shiny black!

For me, WiiU >>> XB1 > PS4
I'd rather have curved edges like the Wii U. At least XB1 looks like a stealthier console to hide it's ugliness, since its just a box, which blends in more naturally than the PS4.

Come to think of it, I think pretty much all consoles in history have been extremely ugly. (Save for handhelds, and maybe the Nintoaster)
