Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Final Fantasy 15 & Kingdom Hearts 3...exclusive to PS4 or multiplatform??

Just so everyone knows Tetsuya confirmed months ago that Sony is co-developing FFXV and that is a PS4 exclusive. Kingdom Hearts III however was speculated to be a PS3 exclsuive but literally no comments from Tetsuya about its platform all we know is (for now) it's confimred for PS4.

I really think they should pay to make both FFXV and KH3 PS4 exclusives. The only games they announced that were exclusive to Playstation consoles were first party games (I don't count timed exclusives), whereas Microsoft bought a bunch of exclusives from a bunch of different developers. Sony needs third party exclusives and getting FFXV and KH3 as exclusives would be really great in convincing people to get the PS4 over Xbox One.

I think FFXV is definitely going to be an exclusive, KHIII might be as well but I guess it's to early to promise us anything.

It's hardley a "sad" move. It's nothing we havn't seen both MS and Sony do several times before (especially MS with DLC and timed exclusives...)

I would consider it a very good move. Though I imagine the cost would be quite high, people have been waiting for both those games for years. Having them as an exclusive would be a huge draw for a lot of people.

I thought it was considered bad form to buy 3rd party exclusives. Or is that only when MS do it?

They're both multiplatform. The only reason FF14 is exclusive if because Square Enix and Microsoft couldn't hammer out a deal.

Does it really matter? Lets be hyped for these games not just if they are exclusive or not.

It DOES matter.  Remember the SHITSTORM when FF13 was going multiplatform.

I am already sitting next to my popcorn machine and waiting for the internet meltdown  :)

They would scream it out of the roof on an event like E3 if they would be 100 % exclusive.
