Forums - Nintendo Discussion - [E3 2013] Wii U lack third party titles.

Once again, the Wii U, was pretty much ignored through out most of the E3 press conferences. This is just, I don't know if it becauses of the specs or just because it's not selling well. It's pretty much up to Nintendo to prove that the Wii U is a true next gen console. What every devs expect in a next gen console. Since Iwata state during one of his finance press conference (back in March I believe) that the "Wii U power is misunderstood" which I personally believe in him to a point. Nintendo Land look amazing, but I think it's going to take more then that to persuade devs.

I really want the gaming industry to take Wii U seriously, stop treating it as a Fisher Price toy. I want all three big gaming companies to a huge healthy buisness. Screw the console war, invole gaming Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo.

We'll see tomorrow, if Nintendo plan to involved games or still continue to look irrelevant in the eye of the industry. If Nintendo leave, all we'll have left is realistic triple A games.

Don’t follow the hype, follow the games

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen.

Yeah, it's rather frustrating. Even Trials Fusion was announced on every "next" gen platform except for the Wii U.

hmm, ya the lack of wii u from both ea(which aren't really supporting anyways), but ubisoft had like one. That was the bunny tv show thing. All the next gen games shown are for ps4 and xbox one only.

I starting to believe that because Nintendo did not allow DRM on the Wii U 3rd parties are ignoring it. If so, then that's fine by me because i'm not going to support companies that bend over the consumer.

Hmmm... I thought it was pretty clear by now that this situation was not because the Wii U's power.

i don't care about trials or the crew, but i want The Divison on my WiiU T_T

the whole industry wants to get rid of nintendo it is the only explanation... nintendo ¡¡hold!!

34 years playing games.

Won't happen, to put it clean and simple nintendo is just out of the circle, the videogame industry is an upward spiral highway that every company, developers and hardware makers (not just consoles) follow, nintendo jumped out of it long time ago. they are in their own path, if others want to go and join them from time to time well, sure they are welcome but nothing will stop nintendo to keep moving forward in the path they've chosen, if someone had any doubt left today's events should have cleared it all up, they are alone.

Not explicitly mentioned, but Just Dance 2014 (Wii U pad was in the trailer), Rayman Legends, Splinter Cell, ACIV and Watch Dogs were shown. Though TBH only one of them was new.

I'm not sure about The Crew.

Tom Clancy's The Division and Trials were really not coming to WiiU though.

Anything else I missed ?
