Judging by the votes it makes you wonder if 80% of the bitching for the past few weeks were from people who never wanted a Xbox in the first place.


OT: I was never out i was just patient and my patients has been rewarded. Will be picking one up when i get a chance.

Honestly dude if anything this poll is just proof that most of the complaining was coming from fanboys of other systems.

The press conference was what they needed to do. That I will 100% agree with.

Games looked great, console was shown to work great with great gaming features (I love the Tech Difficulties with EA, their demo was so bad it broke the hardware....)

It just was not what I wanted. Not sure anyone is going to give me what I want right now (Not until TGS anyway)

None of those options really mean anything to me. I will have one, just not at launch. Very doubtful I will buy any consoles at launch.  The games I will want for it will not be out at launch.

Whilst that seems the case, (let's be honest, it's most likely true) I wrote the poll in the sense that the reveal made people turn away but E3 didn't help anything. I don't think I worded it correctly but oh well.

If you buy this console cause of some better looking games and you accept to get shit on then yes, I consider you a fanboy sorry.

I pre-ordered one because it has games that I want to play and they will only be available on it. I always figured video games are what made a gaming console relevant, but hey, what do I know? :P

No problem with that, what I don't understand is, that the better looking games from today will also be playable on pc/ps 4. Why do buy a consumer unfriendly console just for the exlusives? Probably a reason why they can do what they want cause people buy it anyway. I guess you don't know what that means for the indsutry if the Xbox One succeeds.

Nah, I don't feel the industry is in any real trouble because of the X-One. Also, because of my PC background, I know that DRM isn't as bad as is being made out. The 24-hr connection gig, yes, I'd like to know more, it IS a cause of personal concern, but I buy systems for the experiences that can't be had elsewhere. Thus, following the tradition.


Problem is, on steam the games aren't as expensive. And also why would I want a console when it is just like a pc only worse? Excatly.

Well they did have a impressive conference with some good exclusives... but some of the negative things still remain.
Need to see what sony has to offer, but myself enjoy both consoles...just don't know which one I will get first yet.

You can't go by the placement of someone's hastily (as in today) made Wikipedia article. LOL

No, I guarantee you that it's going to be a Smash Bros. Brawl issue. Meaning, Hal technically helped make that game, they made available all previous game assets, and offered their assistance when needed. But Sakurai's team did all the developing. Rare is far too busy making Kinect Sports 3. MS made it very clear that that is all Rare does now. The other, smaller shovelware/licensed game factory studio is the one that is going to be doing the actual developing.

 

And quite frankly, from that trailer, it looks like it.

Hmm, still not entirely sold on whether or not I'll get an Xbox One in the future, but I did enjoy their conference quite a bit. That said, I'll probably wait a few years regardless of what happens, price tag is a little steep for me.
