Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

This is a Jago Combo. Second of all, that is not Jago. It has nothing to do with it being an MS game, but rather that i was just underwhelmed. I still have both KI games from the SNES and the N64. DOA has better graphics and art direction. KI set standards in graphics and gameplay for fighters, this game just looks, meh.

Seems like I've had to do that with a lot of old Rare titles that have been remade. Hopefully things get better in the coming years. In another post I suggested MS should've contacted Neatherealm studios, whom used to be Midway because they helped make KI in the first place.

Doesn't look very good IMO. But then again I don't really care for fighting games all to much, except Dead or Alive.

Dude....I grew up with Killer Instinct and have very, very fond memories of this franchise. Very underrated and a cult classic for its time. It set standards fighting games aren't even matching today and was for the most hardcore of hardcore arcade fighters. Some could say its difficulty exceeded the MK franchise and put it on notice. Since I was a child I used to study 80+ hit ultra combos which was something I never cared to do in MK. Even watching the game it had a study factor that helped with timing. I shouldn't have to be writing this, but Killer Instinct was one of those games that I am very serious about since I am a fighting fan. If there was anything good I got out of this its that MS finally gained an incentive to fix the D-Pad on their controller. If you like the game buy it, why should I be an intrusion upon your life. This is a forum, so act like its a forum. You bash my opinions, but does it kill my spirit? No, because you cannot change my opinion. If my opinion sucks to you, then leave it be where it is. 

 

P.S.

MS better push back this game and take their sweet time with it because this is one of those games based on design that demands TLC. Its not one of those franchises you take lightly and just slap together. The true fans will notice a flaw...and call it out.
