After having played the game for a good portion (just got lvl 3 if you know what I mean)
I don't see what the problem is, like the OP is saying. All that stuff has happened to me, including in the very area they showed the footage from.
I mean, if you want I can upload some gameplay for you, but I mean, all you have to do is play the game to see that you're wrong.
My favorite part is making them beg, and then shooting them. I did it last night in front of my now-ex gf but he was wearing a helmet and the helm just popped off, and then I laughed, and then she laughed at me laughing.
Enemies post up in rooms all the time. Do you even R2?
When I point a gun at them, they go from running straight, to slight jukes, keeping me from hitting their face.
I got grabbed at one part and Ellie sunk her shank into the guy's back.
And another time I killed a guy, she heard my gun click, and then ran to grab the ammo and bring it to me.
It's really like you haven't played the game op.
The only thing that's off is that Ellie will like walk into badguys and they never see her. Which makes me wonder about the OP (source, reddit, I know), because that's REALLY the bigger issue.
Just another case of a fanboy on the internet criticizing a game he's never played (and in this case, probably one he's never even seen, since the partner AI is the readily apparent problem, not the enemy AI)
