Forums - Gaming Discussion - This E3 will define the winner of generation

During the last gen(PS3, 360, Wii) the winner was decided over the years, but this time I think the winner will be decided on E3, the outcome of the console war will already be set, and it all depends on how much Microsoft wants to destroy their brand, do you agree?

But war... war never changes

Nope.

Gamescom will probably be the best show of the Year. Closer to launch, price details, more games, Europe, fun.

nope, i am sorry i can't agree.
We all know the Wii U will win :p
Just jokin, the ps4 has the momentum but there is plenty of time for sony to fuck up

Don't agree we are still 5-6 months out from these consoles being launched and we are still missing the most basic and vital information price and release date.

Nintendo skips Gamescom completely, though. Or at least they did last year.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

No it won't, remember E3 2006?

Whoever is able to sustain their ecosystem without having to "reboot" and start over, not get hacked in the process, and provide the best user services and experience in the long run will win this generations.

Games may not actually even matter...even though I sure plan to buy plenty of them next gen.

what will decide the winner are the games to be release on each console

how do you define a winner? sales numbers or financials of the consoles? i think if we talk about sales, it't will be maybe clear after the second or third holiday season. if we talk about the financials we will maybe never know.

but if we will know the profit or losses of the consoles we should really wait some years to get at least half an idea.

This E3 might not say much about the winner of the console generation but if things keep going like they've been it might confirm that we loose.
