Wow, this game does sound really interesting. I have been completely ignoring it (as I do with most downloadable games) but this sounds like a weird mix of base building/survival/rpg/open world exploration/shooter....

There is a certain other not-quite-zombie game which will be taking my attention right now, but maybe later in the summer I will turn to this

ain´t paying Gold just for that.

You don't need to pay Gold for this game.

Isn´t online?

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

No, precisely. The magic of this one is that all the content is singleplayer.

Is it possible in any way to somehow reduce zombie activity permanently? Or at least make it where there are severely less zombies?

Build outposts near your base; that way the zombie activity in that area is practically zero.

Thanks man, wish I could build more than 8 outposts though.

That would make things more boring IMO, however, estrategically placing the eight outposts may lead to a partially city totally defended, which would means no zombie in.

Hordes can still attack, though, if they approach an outposts, the traps will kill them all.

I was hoping that they would fix the frame rate of the game cause it is attrocious at times.

Other than that, the update looks like it will be fixing a lot of the problems and fix some balancing issues.

I'm overall glad that I got this game cause it's proven to be very addicting and fun.

@Wright: How many outposts can you have total?

Eight outpost in total, wherever you want. (You must clear the buildings first though).

By the way, I never had framerrate issues o.O A lot of popping things and glitches, but no framerrate except when it first loads the game.

Eight's a good amount. However, I only see 4 slots for outposts in the current church home.

Another question: When one of your playable characters gets hurt, do they automatically heal over time or do you need a doctor?

@Barozi: What can I say, I'm impatient :P

Can't really say. I do not think you need a doctor; however, a medical building is a must.

Yeah I don't have one of those yet. I probably will once I move my house to Marshall though.

Glad to see you finally bought the game and seems to be enjoying it! ^^

Yeah, I'm loving it. It got so much better after I got to the church and started to figure out how everything worked. I don't know why, but the whole looting system is incredibly addicting (as is the rest of the game). I'm actually having almost as much fun in this as I had in Tomb Raider (which I think is the best game for fun factor this year).
