Good to know. So I can insult other users as long as I am respectful.

You are insulting me by insulting my inteligence with this post, should I report you and expect than you get banned, or should I grow a thicker skin and move on?

Uh....no one was talking to you so I have no idea what you're talking about. If someone insults me, I'm going to defend myself + report them. I should have to though, there should be rules in place that prevent these kinds of posts.

Wrong again, this is a forum, anything you say here you say to everybody, so yes, in a way, you are talking to me. Like I said, you've insulted me, should I not report you and hope you get banned? You clearly missed the point on the first go around, I can only hope you get it this time.

If I were to insult you have every right to not only report me but defend yourself. But there should be rules in place that prevent users from critizing other users. You see as long as I've been on this website, I've built up a reputation. That reputation is either negative or positive depending on who you ask. Obviously the ones who view me in a negative way will find my posts annoying, unnecessary or just plain irrelevant. They have every right to do that. I have a few users who I don't care much for myself. That doesn't give me the right to go telling them why I don't like them and why they should stay out of a certain forum section because I think they're not wanted. Why? Because that is just one person's opinion.

If I go into a thread about Xbox One asking people if they're buying it or not and post my opinion on it, i shouldn't get a mob of users attacking me personally. For example, if I posted:

"I'm not getting the Xbox One. It doesn't offer any features I find useful. I don't like paying for something that is free on other platforms and I don't like the huge focus on entertainment"

This is my opinion, I'm entitled to it. I wouldn't be offending anyone , except maybe Microsoft

These are the type of comments I would get:

Username1:  "LOL like you would ever considered buying one anyway"

Username2: "oh look another Vgking comment"

Username3: "the usual suspects taking over the thread again"

Obviously I don't get these comments over and over but I do get them way too often. All those users would have been better off ignoring my comment as their comments added nothing to the discussion and would have led to a derailed thread. These comments go unmoderated 90% of the time and leads people to believe the behavior is acceptable, which it apprantly is on this forum.

Please dont ban me but am I the only one happy that Mazty is permabanned?

I'm just going to say, repeat offenders should be permabanned and that would please me.

A tonne of alt accounts.... I wonder how many of them were Sony fans just dying to get on and bash the Xbox ONE? The reveal did make the site go crazy!!!

And also, I havent been banned regularly for it.

I havent been banned for 2 Years.

I haven't been banned in about 2 days. We have like, something in common!

The penitant man will pass.

I don't remember either of you too ever being banned... I haven't been banned once since joining, though have had a couple of warnings!

Why bother posting these each month? The people on it are too busy being banned to be shamed by this.

The mods were being criticized for not doing enough, this thread was born. It shames the users and shuts up the, "mods don't do shit" crowd all in one. People often discuss the mods reasoning with the list and the moderations/warnings/bans on it at times too. It's better than what we had before.

If you add "...IMO. Also, I dislike most games I play.", then you should be fine. You are KylieDog, so you should get the license to skip redundant explanations, because we all know you anyway.

I do not dislike most games I play, this is a horrible misconception and I feel deeply hurt everytime I hear it.  I just have higher standards than the commoners so appear more critical.

You should just join the PC master race and be done with it.  You come across as stuck up.  I don't think I've seen one positive post from you.  I would shit my pants if I actually saw a positive post from you.  You are like Debbie Downer.  Everything you say is depressing.  Why don't you post something positive for a change?

I can't lie that I'm happy the hate has shifted to MS.  I was getting sick of all the Nintendo bashing.  Sorry you have to suffer Microsoft fans but Nintendo fans have endured enough.

You still completely missed the point. Nobody can control what YOU find offensive. I could say something to you not meaning to be offensive necessarily, and you could find it offensive anyway. What I am saying is, since you are the only one who can decide to be offended or not, grow thicker skin, problem solved.

Perhaps you should stick to Sony threads where you belong.
