Halo 5 WILL be shown at E3 2013, according to a representative from 343. The game, which is believed to have been in development before Hal 4 had even been released, was missed from Microsofts Event last week which was showing off the Xbox One.

Many fans wanted to see more from Halo, and all they got was a film... boring!

No specific details have been revealed yet, nor have any leaked. At this point, it is a good thing as it means that we will see everything for the first time at E3. I for one am excited, and I can't wait to see what has been cooking.

Naturally, the game will be an Xbox One game, but it is unclear whether it will make the cross-generation risk, and invite itself to the Xbox 360. Time will tell, so for now we will have to wait.

One thing is for sure, we WILL get more Halo in the next 12-18 months, and at least it is not a terrible show which nobody will watch (points at Spielberg).

Hmm I hope for a spinoff a la halo wars 2 instead of Halo 5. Although they announce a mainline halo game always two years in advance.

I want a ODST styled Campaign because that is personally my best experience with Halo and that is saying a lot considering the fact I've loved halo ever since 01

I'm not one of those fans that wanted to see "more from Halo", I was satisfied with the series announcement if not skeptical of your boy Spielberg. I also don't really wanna see any Halo 5 yet but I can understand why they might want to tease a little, hype everyone up with some sick looking visuals. That might actually be pretty cool, as long as it says, "coming fall of 2014" or something like that.

Really? This is what you are able to put out when you think of Halo 5? This is one of the bad posts... Why would it be stupid? Ah yes, because MS does stupid things by now and $ony doesn't? Well, that's a good argument.

And I think after Sony's render-target-disaster everybody in the industry knows that cgi-teasers aren't the best way to show games. Btw, do you remember when MS showed a Halo as cgi which had nothing to do with the game?

HALO needs to take a break.. Great franchise but M$ has been releasing a HALO game every year, these last few yrs. M$ announced 15 exclusives first year.... no need to milk HALO... give people a chance to miss it.

Seems too soon. They could always hint or show a teaser to sell more consoles. Halo 2 anniversary next year and Halo 5 in 2015 would be great. Exited to see what's next though. Halo 4 was amazing.

Still Halo 4 sells surprisingly good and we don't know when Halo 5 will release. And also keep in mind that COD also releases every year and it outsells every exclusive on ps3 and 360...
