Annoying pop-up ads that keep forwarding me into the app store unless I hit stop before the page loads when I access the site through mobile browsers.

Also mods seem paranoidly pro-American. Even when I make a statement about fat people, they ban me for being too unamerican. I thought this was a Euro-based site! It is like back in the USSR days!

Getting banned for saying certain things about Sony, but others don't when talking about Nintendo/Microsoft although it's the same way of complaining about the company. I even prepared an article about this and it's still on my computer; about why I'm pretty mad at the moderators of this site. But I calmed down a bit and I think this site is fun. But it's the moderators of this site I can't deal with. They seem pretty biased towards Sony (I have proof of this) and you're not supposed to be that on a neutral gaming site.

the mods arent sony biased, they are atari biased, everybody knows that.

@OT : im expecting a lot of people complaining about the mods, though it might just be a coincidence and i might get lucky, but im going to guess most of these people who complain about the mods will call them baised against there console of choice, its just a hunch.

I agree, selective moderation, and it is usually without warning or even censoreship, but full on banishment for up to a month while you watch much worse stuff posted in topics.

Not on nearly as much. The level of conversation has deteriorated over the years and the lack of hard sales data (and lots of nifty charts) that were once the mainstays of this site (but now require payment to see) lowers the level of conversation to more fanboyism.

In 2007 it was quite interesting to see how Sony/MS/Nintendo's different approaches to gaming were going to work out. And to see how well Nintendo was able to capture new gamers (like me). This gen really brought consoles away from the sterotype of kids/the nerdy guy playing them in their mom's basement to something anyone would be proud to display in their living room.

As we finally get into the next gen it looks like mass market gaming has now left consoles to tablets/smartphones (smart TVs?) with consoles slowly dwindling down to the old 'niche' market which seems to be reflective of the people here too (with the site becoming more fanboyish).
