WiiU port worst again
wonder if its really more powerfull than a 360

maybe its because its new or its underused to a degree, but this is getting tiresome

i dont care even if its less powerful than the 360, but lets settle this one and for all plz



I downloaded the demo on Wii U and I didn't like the aiming.



I suppose this will be +1 to my Steam library sometime.

Ports =  made because easy money

Optimizing  the whole CPU-heavy code for a GPU-heavy system like WiiU = costs money.

So you get the problem :)

You A)  invest alot of money and expect small or no profits on a console with a still small userbase
or B) you make "cheap" ports with meh results. 

Protip!  when going for A) you could basically not do it at all! And doing it anyway (like criterion did) shows that one makes games for the sake of entertaining and not for the sake of earning money.  (I feel really bad that criterion is crippled by EA...)

I actually think that the WiiU suffers from the 3DS to WiiU port because the 3DS had circle pads and the WiiU also had circle pads during it's early phases. I don't think they got the response code right yet.
I've been getting a lot of awkward movements.

And dude seriously it's a half-assed port don't worry bout it. It's not like capcom's port of MH3U has like the greatest port evar.

I was expecting them to screw up the Wii U version one way or the other but I didn't expect them to mess up something that basic. >_ Oh well, I've already got it for Wii U so hopefully it isn't a game-breaking issue for me...

Same here. The aiming felt awkaward. If I tried to move the cross hair just a touch, it would go way off in whatever direction I was pressing. I didn't like the character models and the zombies/monsters movements were cheap looking. You kill a monster and the way the blood spreads on the floor reminds me of ps2/gamecube. Graphics aren't that big of a deal to me, but to put up with this I need much smoother controls and better gameplay. I wanted an old school resident evil, but not in the sense that I wanted my characters to move so stiffly and aim like I was playing N64.

I think I will pass on this game. I was really excited for it too.

I thought the main girl character looked well done and cool, but the environments to be so-so.  I don't like survival horror though, so this game isn't up my alley.  If I was to pick up a game like this, it would definitely be Zombi U
