A listing for a Halo Bootcamp popped up on the Korean Game Rating Board today, mentioning both Halo 3 and “PC online game” in the same breath.
No one seems to know what the listing is for, and many ideas have surfaced ranging from Halo 3 finally coming to PC, to it having something to do with the Reed Ruiz novel Halo: Fall of Reach: Boot Camp.
Whatever it is, it has nothing to do with Xbox One nor the Reclaimer Saga which started with Halo 4.
When GameFront reached out to Microsoft for an comment, the following statement was provided by a spokesperson:
“What’s Bootcamp? It is not related to our Xbox One efforts, or the Reclaimer Saga, but rather a project we’re very enthusiastic about and will have more to say about in the near future.”
Who knows at this point what it is, but at least we know what it’s not.
