I have to know a price before I can make a decision

what is your quota to buy it?

with out all the info on the used games and the internet connection required its hard to say.  I really like the entertainment side of it (i use my kinect a ton for watching media, and I really want kinect to work for my tv). But brand new I would pay $300-$400. Used with a game or 2 I like and an extra controller around $300 .

I will get it because I'm tired of having to use a gazillion of remote for my media center/TV/Music needs when I'm suppose to chill....
I will be phasing out my HTPC because it is actually an unpractical solution unless you have a real home theatre room with a decent DVD tech with the need for a giant DVD loader....

I'll be phasing out big PCs in the household reducing it to a good laptop and a nice Tablet PC when haswell comes around....

and I'll happily embrace the all digital era and cloud revolution and get rid of physical media.... and leave the backward thinkers behind in the past century....

pretty much XB1 is what I have been waiting for a decade.... what I was expecting from MS with the 360 down the line....

one unified way to do all things and everything.... across all my platforms.....

same here, with voice controls too

PS4 and PC gaming.

In about a year I think. I don't believe half of the negative rumours but I'm going to need a kick-ass RPG reveal and some resolution on all the used game crap that's floating around.

at this point I don't even consider it, I just can't see any pros in it other than not needing a remote control to use it.

Everything other it offers the competition offers too, even non-gaming services. And I suppose you have pay XBL subscription then pay Netflix subscription? meh, I also really really dislike the "no game borrowing"-policy since I sometimes borrow a game from a mate and vice versa and logging in each day just to play a relaxing game solo sounds like a hassle.

those 15 exclusives might be good though, I certainly hope most of them aren't casual kinect games. If they don't impress then I'm just gonna stick on PC/PS4 combo I suppose.

As it stands now, no. But then I wouldn't get a WiiU or PS4 currently either.

Content is king so it'll all be in what compelling experiences they offer that others don't.

The multi-media functions of the Xbox One are cool but I wouldn't spend money for that. I can do most of it now via a tablet, and likely Smart TVs will have much (even light Kinect features) of that in the next couple years. So what do I need an Xbox One for?

will you decide post e3?

are those exclusive games will be releasing on pc?????

I just read this article on ign that makes all the doubts I had all week finally make me say heck no. I am not owning this. http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/05/24/xbox-one-will-kinect-2-use-visual-drm

From what I've read thos 15 first year exclusives are first party, so probably not. MS studios does not support pc gaming anymore. I do hope that changes though because from the sounds of it they will be releasing KI3 within the next year and I really would like to play it.
